Right of Way Appraisals
AWS has completed thousands of appraisals on projects across the nation. Ranging from rural to urban locations, the property types cover the full gamut from farmland to high-rise office buildings. The types of projects are just as diverse. They include petroleum and natural gas pipelines, electric transmission lines, highways, water pipelines, subsurface/underground interests, flood control, and mass transit, to name a few. AWS has extensive experience appraising both fee and easement partial acquisitions and are cognizant of the intricacies of “before and after” appraisals. We have both state and federal experience and are aware of the compensability issues when preparing eminent domain appraisals in various jurisdictions. AWS has built an in-house sales database program and appraisal management software to expedite the appraisal and appraisal review while implementing quality control.
